Translation workflow - publish translations immediately or hold for review

When translations are complete they can either be published immediately or be held for review.

To determine this, go to:

Administer › Site configuration › ICanLocalize Content

If you select 'Publish when received' each completed translation will be published immdiately. The translator can still edit later, but as soon as it's ready, it's published.

If you choose 'Don't publish, I will review them and publish manually', translations will be kept as unpublished when received.

If you've chosen to hold translations for review, it's a good idea to also select to receive notifications when translations complete.

Reviewing translations

You can see all transaltions that are held for review in:

Administer › Content management › ICanLocalize Translation Review

Click on any document to review it. When in review mode, you can publish the translation by clicking on'Translation is OK - Publish'. To communicate with the translator and ask for changes, click on 'Translation needs fixing - chat with translator'. This will open a chat session with the translator who's working on your website.
